Happy Birthday Elias! I loved this episode. My oldest just turned 9 and this has inspired me to start planning our rights of passage as well. Also a good point to establish mentors for our boys, if you don't someone or something else will!
Thanks! Yes glad you are thinking about this for you son. Be thinking for your daughter as well. I plan on doing something similar for my daughter as well! I will publish something soon! Also I will pass on to Elias the well wishes. Blessings!
I know I read somewhere that you were open to hearing book suggestions for Elias and I have two!
The first is "Forever Ruined for the Ordinary" by Joy Dawson. That book teaches how to hear God's voice, has incredible stories, and gave me a deep desire to develop the same deep spiritual connection with Jesus that the author had! ("had" because the author is now in Heaven).
The second is an INCREDIBLE devotional that my husband and I are currently working through each morning. It is "Heaven Declares: Prophetic Decrees to Start Your Day" by author Hakeem Collins (a former Muslim).
OK, one more! "Imagine Heaven" by Pastor Jim Burke is all about people who've experienced NDE (near death experiences) who share the stories of what they experienced when they died, went to Heaven, and came back. TRULY amazing book that, in my case, has me excited about the day I will die! I tell anyone who has lost someone or is facing death (I.e. last stages of cancer) about this encouraging book!
Hope these help Elias and your family! Of course, with TEN kiddy winks in your home, how you and Johanna have time to THINK, let alone READ A BOOK is probably the 8th wonder of the world!
